✖️ Muscle Coordination
👉🏽 When we run we are loading the whole lower body from the foot, calf, knee, quads, hamstrings and glutes.
👉🏽 The lower limbs must all work together to share this load appropriately to prevent one muscle group working overtime, which can often present in pain.
👉🏽 When we run, no one muscle group is working in isolation, therefore as well as strengthening the muscles that help us run, we need to train muscle coordination as well so the load is shared.
👉🏽 Give this muscle coordination exercise a crack before you set out for your next run!
👉🏽 Maybe there it’a not a weakness you’re experiencing, rather a load
